January 24, 2010

Hey Everyone!

Happy Healthy New Year!  I hope that 2010 is going really great for you all!

I wanted to let you know about some exciting things going on in the wee days of 2010!

First off, I want to thank everyone for coming out to my Colorado shows and making the tour SOLD OUT!!!  I had so much fun at the shows and and also a special thank you to KBPI 106.7 fm, The Uncle Nasty Show for having me on!  I also recorded 2 Heavy Metal songs with them!  Pantera's "Love Song" and Prong's "Your Fingers Snap Your Neck". I never thought I would have so much fun singing Pantera.

Thanks also to Wendy Kale and The Colorado Daily for their article on me!

Also a special thanks to 88.5 KGNU fm's "The Naked Stage". I didn't get to do the radio show this time, but I'll be back on their show soon!

January is an exciting month, as I've been doing my residency at the famous,
Hotel Cafe in Hollywood every Thursday!
I've got another show there February 4th!

I also got to perform at The NAMM Show and represent Senheisser microphones and wireless monitor systems as well as Kazoobie Kazoos-which I now officially endorse! And Westone Audio as well whose in-ear monitors I love and swear by!

I also had more music air on NBC's "Days Of Our Livesincluding the new song, "Mirror"!  There is now a New CD Soundtrack that has been released called, St. Hollywood that features 4 of my songs that have appeared on Show!  Check it out Here!

I am busily working on my 2 NEW CDS!  They will be released in the early Spring!  The first is the New Nina Storey record and the second is my new band,
"Welcome To Happy" - we are a symphonic rocking duo comprised of Ryan Franks and myself.  This new band sounds like a cross pollination of Tom Waits, Danny Elfman, and The Wizard Of Oz.

We also have written a Comic Book series entitled, "Welcome To Happy" that will be released with the new CD's!  Stay tuned for more details on this super exciting adventure!

Also, I'm getting ready to head to Park City, Utah to perform in the Access Film Music Showcase during the Sundance Film Festival!  All my shows are open to the public and some are even ALL AGES so check my calendar and if you're in the area, come on down and play with me and we can oogle movie stars together.  :)

I've also added new videos from my recent live shows so check out my Videos Page.

I've also got shows in the South East in Feburary as well, so check the calendar for dates in your town!  I'm heading to Louisiana, Georgia, Washington DC, North Carolina and Florida!

Also, I want to announce the winner of DOUBLE DOWN New Music Monday's Round 1- James Grimes!  He's going to get a private concert by yours truly!  We'll also be sending out special thank you's to the runners up.     And Round 2 will begin soon!

Thank you all so much for your support.   I wish you all a Blessed Happy and Healthy New Year.  And lastly if you can give to any of the numerous organizations that are helping with earthquake relief in Haiti, please do.
